She is a leader, fundraiser and builder, her skills include leadership and leadership development, fundraising, story-telling, account management, relationship building, entrepreneurial and creative thinking, staff management, executive volunteer management, public speaking, verbal and written communication, marketing and communications, facilitator, and trainer. Jennifer Bartkowski serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas (GSNETX) since 2009.

Jennifer is leading business transformation and organizational change at Girl Scouts to be the best organization to help girls thrive in the 21st century. She leads a team of 100+ staff and a volunteer Board of Directors to fulfill mission and vision for 26,000 girls annually. Key priorities include fundraising for a capital and annual campaign, developing a STEM Center of Excellence, transforming staff culture and satisfaction, telling the Girl Scout story to engage new members and investors, and delivering 21st century programs to all girls.

Jennifer is also a graduate of Leadership Dallas, Class of 2016 and a member of Leadership Dallas Alumnae Board. She is also a member of the Dallas Summit and the Social Change Leadership Program/Audre Lorde class. Jennifer is a board member and passionate advocate for Carson’s Village, an innovative, startup nonprofit organization. Jennifer is the recipient of the Dallas Business Journal’s 2017 Women in Business Award and proud that Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas was recognized in 2016 as the Nonprofit of the Year by Dallas-based CNM Connect. Jennifer is the mother of two children and is the proud recipient of the Girl Scout Silver Award as well as the Girl Scout Thanks Badge, recognizing her outstanding achievements as an adult member of Girl Scouts.
